The focus of our care is to evaluate, diagnose, and treat neurological, muscular, and skeletal pain using a multidisciplinary approach which incorporates the use of diagnostic as well as therapeutic procedures whenever possible.
Our Approach
Whenever possible we utilize evidence-based diagnostic as well as interventional techniques to potentially improve recovery from injuries and chronic pain conditions. Whether your pain was caused an accident or is physiologic in nature, an integrated team approach utilizing the expertise of highly trained professionals in a variety of disciplines is a strategy which offers many benefits over a single "monotherapy" option.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat sports-related injuries and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Develop treatment and rehabilitation plans in coordination with physical therapists and other care providers.
- Provide injury-prevention guidance and determine when patients can safely return to activity.
Candidate requirements:
- MD or DO degree and an active, unrestricted medical license in the state where the position is located.
- Board certification or eligibility in a relevant specialty, such as Family Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, or Orthopedic Surgery.
- Fellowship training in Sports Medicine, or equivalent sports medicine experience acceptable to the employer.
