We are seeking a full-time LPN for our plasma donor clinic in Kokomo, IN.
Job Details:
- This is a unique nursing role conducting initial health assessments of potential blood donors to ensure their suitability for plasma donation.
- The LPN will do donor intake, perform vitals, a finger-stick and a head-to-toe medical exam.
- Qualified donors who pass the assessment will then be sent to the phlebotomy team for their blood donation;
- Donors who don't meet the requirements will be counselled by the nurse as to what measures need to be taken to qualify for donation next time.
This is a full-time opening working day shifts five days per week. However, we will need a nurse who has flexibility each week as the scheduled days may not always be the same as the week before.
The clinic is open 7 days per week, so nurses who can work occasional weekends are required.
