Gastroenterologist (General GI)
Location: Greater Cincinnati Area, OH
Positions Available: Multiple openings across premier acute care hospitals and regional medical centers.
Experience Level: Open to all levels of experience, including fresh fellowship graduates.
Schedule & Workload: 36 hours of clinical time per week (24 hours of endoscopy/procedure time and 12 hours of office time).

Position Overview & Clinical Environment:
  • Scope of Practice: This is a General Gastroenterology position. Specialist interests can be accommodated, but advanced procedures like ERCP or EUS are not required.
  • Call Schedule: Favorable and highly balanced 1 in 8 call rotation supporting an excellent work/life balance.
  • Established Support: Join a large, robust group consisting of 18 physicians and 8 advanced practice providers (APPs).
  • Referral Stream: Enjoy an immediately thriving patient census and high procedure volumes, fully supported by a strong, built-in referral stream from our well-established Primary Care community.
  • Teaching Opportunities: Candidates who wish to work in an academic or training capacity can choose to work with our on-site Primary Care residency programs.

Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Education & Training: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree with successful completion of an accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship.
  • Board Status: Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Gastroenterology.
  • Skills: Demonstrated passion for patient-focused care with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Visa Sponsorship: H-1B candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis. J-1 visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
  • Timeline: Preferred start date within 3 to 6 months, though longer timeframes and future fellowship graduates will be accommodated.
