Job Summary:
- Position Title: Director of Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Core Focus: Clinical Supervision, Group Facilitation, and Program Administration
- Compensation: $90,000 – $100,000 annually
- Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 Sign-On Bonus
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Clinical Supervision: Oversee clinical staff and graduate students, facilitate staff meetings, and direct clinical rounds.
- Program Oversight: Supervise chart audits, oversee the maintenance of precise patient notes, and perform utilization reviews.
- Direct Patient Care: Carry a small caseload of 4 to 5 patients (depending on census) and lead therapy groups focused on dual diagnosis, mental health, and substance use disorders.
- Case Management: Complete comprehensive patient assessments, provide diagnoses, establish treatment plans, and coordinate discharge services.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain full compliance with the strict standards of outside credentialing bodies, including insurers, The Joint Commission, and the Department of Public Health.
- Crisis Management: Function independently to safely manage clinical crises and collaborate across a multidisciplinary team to determine appropriate levels of psychiatric care.
Skills, Experience & Requirements:
- Education: Master’s degree required in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related behavioral health discipline.
- Licensure: Active Independent Clinical License is required (LCSW, LICSW, or LMHC).
- Clinical Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an addiction program, mental health treatment facility, group counseling setting, or Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP).
- Supervisory Experience: 1 to 2 years of supervisory experience is strictly required.
- Core Competencies: Extensive knowledge of dual diagnosis treatment, strong interpersonal skills within a multidisciplinary team, and comfort navigating a fast-paced environment.
