Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Location: South Dakota (Multiple Environments: Clinic, Home, & Classroom)
Salary Range: $39.00 – $58.00 / Hour
Exemption Status: Varies by Assignment

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide high-quality behavior therapy services using evidence-based, person-centered practices. In this role, you will design treatment plans, collaborate with an interdisciplinary clinical team, and provide clinical supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), Lead RBTs, and Behavior Specialists.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Therapy: Conduct intake skill assessments, functional behavior assessments (FBAs), and functional analyses.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop, implement, and monitor evidence-based behavior plans; analyze and interpret data on an ongoing basis.
  • Supervision: Provide general clinical supervision and oversight to RBTs, Lead RBTs, BCaBAs, and Behavior Specialists.
  • Training & Collaboration: Provide parent training and staff guidance on skill acquisition. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (OT, PT, SLP, and Psychologists).
  • Documentation: Manage insurance pre-authorizations/recertifications and document direct sessions accurately in the EMR system.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Education: Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Licensure: Current BCBA certification and active behavior analyst licensure in the state of South Dakota required.
  • Preferred Experience: Early childhood development, early intervention (EIBI or ESDM), and prior work with autism spectrum disorders.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:
  • Work is performed across clinic, residential, home, and community environments.
  • Requires full range of body motion, including standing, walking, kneeling, twisting, and bending for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs. and grip up to 60 lbs.
  • Potential exposure to physical/maladaptive behaviors and bloodborne pathogens (OSHA Level I classification); personal protective equipment (PPE) provided as needed.
